Women’s bespoke tailoring gives you something off-the-rack rarely can: a garment cut to your exact proportions rather than an averaged size. Whether it is a dress, a ladies’ suit or an occasion piece, the fit is created for your body — which is why it feels, and photographs, so different.
Why off-the-rack so often disappoints
Ready-to-wear is built to a size chart, an average of many bodies and none in particular. Most women end up compromising somewhere — the waist fits but the shoulders don’t, the length is wrong, the drape falls flat. Alterations help, but they can only adjust a shape that was cut for someone else.
Bespoke starts from you. We measure fully, discuss the silhouette you want, and cut the pattern to your proportions. Nothing is “taken in to make do” — it is made right the first time.
What we make for women
- Custom dresses — day, evening and occasion, in fabrics chosen for drape and comfort.
- Ladies’ suits and blazers — structured tailoring cut to flatter, not to hide.
- Occasion and event wear — for weddings, celebrations and milestones.
- Blouses and shirts — the everyday pieces that are hardest to buy well-fitting.

How the fit is achieved
The fit lives in the fittings, not just the measurements. After the first cut, we fit the garment on you and mark the adjustments — the waist, the drape, the length, the way a sleeve sits when you move. Two or three fittings later, the piece is genuinely yours. We can do this at our Bangtao shop or at your hotel.
Bring inspiration
The easiest way to start is to bring a photo of something you love or a favourite garment to copy. We can recreate a style you already know works for you, in a fabric and colour you choose — or design something new from scratch.
